We are excited to announce that we will be bringing back our 5k Run & Walk community fundraiser! We had made the decision to take a year off from this event with the intent of diving into other fundraising initiatives including making adjustments to our Walk of Unity, launching our annual Golf Outing & Banquet, and now initiating a foreverU Gala after the new year. Between these four community initiatives and fundraisers, and our new partnership with A Road to Help, we will have FIVE community based fundraisers during the fiscal year.
Our 5k Run & Walk will be taking place on September 9th at the new location of the Hickory Creek Barrens Nature Preserve in New Lenox, IL - at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road and Route 30, right across the street from Lincoln-Way Central High School. The objective of our 5k run and walk is to empower surrounding communities to rise for the silent. This fundraiser helps us further our mission of reducing bullying, division, and student suffering in our culture and providing support to struggling youth. What will you be running for? Those in attendance will have the opportunity to learn more about getting involved with our organization, purchase foreverU merchandise, and financially support our mission.
The individual registration fee is $25.00, walk-up registration fee is $30.00, and children 10 years of age and under are FREE. Register by August 25th to receive a FREE swag-bag upon check-in the day of the event. Click here to get registered!
