NEED SOME RESOURCES?
Things to Know: We are not a hot-line and not trained mental health professionals. Please take advantage of our resources.
EMOTIONAL EFFECTS OF BULLYING & STUDENT SUFFERING
HOW YOU CAN TAKE ACTION
If you are in school and a student seems to be showing warning signs of suicidal tendencies due to other emotional effects as a result of bullying related issues and beyond, IMMEDIATELY notify a school administrator, counselor, or school psychologist. If you are outside of school and your friend is showing these warning signs, IMMEDIATELY notify the individual's parents or guardians if able. If you are not able to notify the individual's parents/guardians, call local authorities or encourage the individual to take advantage of either a hotline or text-line which can be found above. You may also call your town's non-emergency phone number and ask them to do a "self-being" check on the individual. Again, if there is an emergency, call 911 immediately.
