< IMPACT OPPORTUNITIES >
Through recent surveys and research we've done with local youth, we have made the final decision to offer monthly opportunities that enable you to live loud in your school and community. Ambassadors will now focus on impact, outreach, and support.. Our "Impact Opportunities", are monthly "action-driven" initiatives we encourage you to participate in. These opportunities allow you to be on the front-lines of impact, to live loudly, and exemplify the foreverU lifestyle. The incentive of participating in these opportunities include eligibility for discounts on events, our end of the year scholarships, and more. Although, as Ryan stated above, what is most important to us is that you live and exemplify the foreverU lifestyle actively, seek hope always, and spread our message to friends, family, and peers.
Monthly IMPACT Initiatives:
Something new that is being implemented into our Ambassador and Chapter Program is our "Impact Initiatives". Each month, we will begin featuring a new initiative that will be required for our Ambassadors and Chapters to lead on their school grounds and in their surrounding communities. These initiatives will be created with an "impact-oriented" approach, meaning that these initiatives are intended to enable you to directly influence the life of a person. We realized that if we want to make a dent in our culture, we need to be provided you with the opportunity to demonstrate the foreverU lifestyle, to live loud, and to be on the front-lines of impact. You can find this month's initiative below.
Monthly OUTREACH Initiatives:
In 2017, we wanted to create more opportunities for youth to make a difference in surrounding communities aside from leading our monthly Impact Initiatives. We want to begin putting the foreverU lifestyle in action and allowing you to begin experiencing service learning opportunities in your community. We will feature a monthly "Outreach Initiative" with the intention of having specific focus so that you can serve on your own as an Ambassador, or with your chapter. This may be Service Initiatives like collecting canned goods. Get the idea? This is a remarkable way to exemplify the foreverU lifestyle while receiving community service hours along the way. You can find this month's initiative below.
NEW! WeCare Initiative:
In 2017, one key area of our mission that we wanted to improve was our responsiveness to the needs of students. We now offer a component at our website that enables individuals to submit tips about struggling students. Each time we receive the word about a student who is hurting, all Ambassadors will be notified. What we then ask is that you write a letter of encouragement to the student based on provided information, send it to the foreverU PO Box, and then we will send a package of letters to the hurting student from the foreverU community. This is called the WeCare Initiative.
