Life can be like a river, if nothing was around it can flow nice and clear. However, life is messy, and things tend to fall into the river and it becomes hard for the river to flow. There are many things in life that can make it difficult to continue moving forward, but we must simply remove those obstacles, like removing blocks in a river.
The first thing that can block our movement forward deals with fear. What are you most afraid of? Fear makes us concern and worried about issues in life, but we cannot allow these things to stop us from reaching our goals in life. There are things to be worried about in life, but we can prepare for them. Do not let fear stop you from reaching goals, let those fears flow away.
The second block in life deals with guilt, think of all the guilt that burdens you, what do you blame yourself for? Accept the reality that these things happen, but do not let them cloud and poison your life. If you are to be a positive influence on the world, you need to forgive yourself.
The third block in life deals with shame. What are you ashamed of? What are your biggest disappointments in yourself? You will never find balance if you deny this part of your life, you must learn to accept and love all aspects of who you are, even your mistakes, and move to improve these areas not deny them.
The fourth block deals with love and is blocked by grief. Lay all your grief, sadness, and loss in front of you. You may have dealt with a great lost, but love is a form of energy that surrounds all of us. Your love for others who have passed is not entirely gone from this world, but remains in you, and can be transformed into new love. Allow the pain to take its place, and be healed with the love in those still with you and with those inside you.
One final block in life deals with truth and is blocked by lies, the ones we tell ourselves. You cannot lie about the person you are, you must accept where you are at in life. When you do this, you may move forward to become the person you desire to be.
Fear, Guilt, Shame, Grief, Lies is not who you have to be.
You can have Courage, Virtue, Respect, Joy, and Honesty.
Peace comes from within. We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make it within ourselves first.
